Itinerary
You will leave early in the morning from Marrakech and will take the road that crosses the High Atlas, in the midday break you will enjoy a lunch at the foot of the most famous cinematographic site of the country. You will spend the night in Ouarzazate.
This second day will be filled with palm groves and breathtaking scenery, in the heart of the Moroccan High Atlas you will enjoy the valleys and mountains. The valley of the roses will dazzle you by its colors and its scents. You will enjoy a short walk in the gorges of Dades before joining the hotel where you will spend the night.
The road of this day will be lined with arid landscapes welcoming nevertheless a fauna and a magic flora. The valley of Todgha will offer you a small walk in the heart of gorges high of several hundred meters. A little freshness before arriving towards the famous sand dunes of the Moroccan Sahara in Merzouga. You will spend the night in a luxury bivouac and enjoy the Bedouin welcome.
This 4th day will be more restful, a magnificent road offering you an exceptional historical heritage with these Kasbah old of several decades to find Merzouga the same evening and enjoy a night on site in a hotel.
You will leave Merzouga to go to the superb valley of Draa and Agdez, change of scenery assured thanks to the various possible visits. According to your convenience you will be able to visit the valley of Draa and to walk there to join the small city of Agdez at the end of the day.
You will take the road in the morning towards the coast. The landscapes will change all along the road to take you to Taznaght and make you enjoy a visit of the city before joining your hotel.
In the morning you will head to Taroudant also called the little Marrakech. The red city is famous for its ramparts and its welcoming medina. It is a stop not to be missed. You will spend the night there.
You will leave Taroudant in direction of Agadir, the famous coastal city that everyone knows. You will be able to stroll around and take time to enjoy the sea before spending your 8th night in a typical hotel.
You will leave the great Agadir to go to the old Portuguese city of Essaouira. The blue city will open its arms to you and you will discover its souks, its famous port and its fishermen boats.
A full day to walk around the blue city. Essaouira has many hidden treasures and this second day will allow you to discover them at your ease before heading back to Marrakech.
Last day, back to Marrakech and free afternoon in the ochre city.
